Inverex is set to shake up Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the upcoming launch of its super affordable, feature-packed Xio EV, a 4-door hatchback that promises impressive mileage, fast charging, and budget-friendly travel.
Despite the expected low price tag, it will be slightly larger than the popular Suzuki Alto. The Xio EV will be available in three variants, offering driving ranges of 140 km, 220 km, and 320 km on a single charge.
One of the key highlights of the Xio EV is its support for DC fast charging despite the price point. This feature allows the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, helping drivers get back on the road without long delays.
With a company-claimed cost of only 4 rupees per kilometer, the Xio EV could offer one of the most affordable per-kilometer rates in the local market — a major draw for daily commuters. The top-tier model delivers a maximum range of 320 km, making it ideal for both city and intercity travel.
The company has confirmed that the official pricing will be revealed at the launch event later this month. Although we don’t have an exact price tag just yet, the Xio EV is expected to be more affordable than the competition.

China mey jo kachra hota hay Pakistani wo uta kar yaha laker ajatey hay
It has become our habit to be negative on everything.
How many times you have gone to China and experienced this EV yourself?
We can’t do anything ourselves and we are talking to those who are doing it. We are too shy.
You are right but that is because our ppl accept it. It isn’t China alone. See our locally assembled cars of Honda, Suzuki and Toyota too. Totally garbage quality.
Better import gem ev. Smaller in size. Four door super economical. Embassies in Islamabad already using them
Wait few days EVs price will drastically go down in Pakistan. US tariff will let the Chinese manufacturer to move towards other parts of the world with low price tagged.
Ye Pakistan ma Nahi chale gi is ka hal India Tata nano jysa ho ga
If Inverex can keep it under 28k for base Model & around 32k for top of the line they would be the biggest threat to Suzuki Alto.
Let’s hope they can keep base around 20, that would still be difficult yet possible for the middle class. Keeping it near Alto is simply impractical, considering a new market entrance and experimental investment in a product. Customer will choose Alto if they’re in the same price range. At least I would prefer an established vehicle over a new one.
I wish we had our vehicle manufacturing cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, etc, all on the road
this will sell if sold at Alto prices . Anything higher and it will flop just like all the other EVs launched so far . but best option will be to sell Plugin hybrid with EV range of 50 to 100km
Good news, hopefully it’s a proper car, under 3 million rupees, it will sell a lot.
