The Pakistan Super League (PSL X) has achieved a historic milestone, registering an extraordinary 826.5% increase in live streaming viewership during its opening weekend compared to last season (PSL 9), despite a direct scheduling clash with the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) in India. This remarkable feat, reported by Walee Technologies, the league’s official live streaming partner.
Aside from the logistics, foreign player availability, and the scheduling conflict with the IPL, one of the world’s most-watched cricket leagues, posed the most significant challenge for the league. However, the unprecedented viewership surge demonstrates the unwavering loyalty of Pakistani fans, as well as a few curious Indian fans, and the league’s ability to captivate audiences through thrilling matches and robust digital outreach.

PTV Sports and A Sports will air the match live across Pakistan, complete with Urdu commentary for local viewers.
