Warehouse of Famous Food Outlet Sealed in Rawalpindi

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Monday sealed a warehouse belonging to a well-known food chain located on Kallar Road, Rawat, citing violations of land use and construction regulations.

According to a press release, the enforcement action is part of RDA’s ongoing campaign to enforce compliance with zoning laws and regulatory standards across the city. The warehouse was reportedly operating without the required approvals, in clear breach of zoning regulations.

RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza emphasized the authority’s commitment to maintaining legal and orderly urban development.
“We strongly urge all commercial establishments to comply with legal requirements and secure the necessary approvals before beginning operations,” she stated.

She added that this action reflects RDA’s zero-tolerance approach toward unauthorized commercial setups and illegal constructions, in line with directives from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who has called for strict enforcement against encroachments and unlawful developments.

The RDA also appealed to the public to support efforts to keep public spaces free from encroachments, ensuring safer, more accessible, and less congested streets in Rawalpindi.

  • کنزا مرتتطزا کامل اور CM کا تو زکر کر دیا ھے مگر outlet کا نام نہیں لکھا یہ ھے خبر کا انداز۔ ❌

  • ” well-known food chain ” ka koi naam bhi tou hoga? Don’t publish such articles if you have no guts to write the name of the culprits.

  • The public living in the area must have known by now the name of the food outlet affected by RDA’s action. In other words the warehouse that has been sealed is in the public knowledge. Why did not propakistani reveal it’s name? In any case this action by RDA should not have made a news item. The food outlet itself was not sealed for poor quality of the food sold. It is just its warehouse that was sealed for unlawful operation.

    • In my opinion, Propakistan and the reporter both should be fined heavily as they did incomplete reporting by not mentioning the food outlet and its own names and address as well.
This penalty should be applied to all such social media and press outlets who give incomplete information.

  • Always up for masala news & click baits??
If you’ve decided to lower your journalistic level of reporting, we better block you from appearing in our news feed & social media feed.
Half baked stories with no info about what happened to whom on what date at which place, will be a black spot for you.

  • Since the reporter did not mention the name of the food outlet, this tells that he has taken bribes of millions of rupees, Otherwise he would have mentioned it if he was honest and had the guts to do so.

Aakhir dono side per Pakistani hain.

  • Please have the courage to name the famous food chain. Either do politics or journalism.
