The Government of Sindh has introduced a new initiative under its Transport and Mass Transit Department aimed at empowering women by enhancing their mobility.
Through this scheme, eligible women in Sindh will receive free electric pink scooties.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scheme, applicants must:
- Be a permanent resident of Sindh.
- Be either a student or a working woman.
- Possess a valid driving license (motorbike or car).
- Commit not to sell or sublet the scooty for at least 7 years.
- Pass a road safety skill test if selected through the draw.
Training & Support
- The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) will offer free training programs across Sindh.
- The training will cover all aspects of riding and road safety.
Distribution Process
- Scooties will be distributed through a transparent balloting process, monitored by the print and electronic media.
- A special committee with members from Excise, Transport, Finance, and Media departments will oversee the process to ensure fairness.

Only people from outside Karachi, specially from interior Sindh will benefit from this Govt of Sindh scheme, Karachites ladies will totally be ignored
It is lottery not some kind of quota. One requirement is driving license, majority of women in Sindh (outside of karachi don’t have except for some numerous chunk in Hyderabad).
Also take your racist outta yourself, interior Sindh itself is in shambles, they don’t have fraction of services that karachi have (so your presumed benefits never trickle down to them). Elites of PPP aren’t Sindh.
How so? It says entire sindh so what’s your problem? There is qouta system based upon regions of sindh. Even if people of interior benefit from it, why are you on fire?

Sindh freaking government should first and foremost focus on building the roads they destroyed, which would help EVERYONE. Second, in this country, I am pretty sure there are so many men that can’t even afford bikes. They should have been distributed bikes based on income class instead of sex. Besides, isn’t most of the tax paid by men? You are telling me that rich ass office women are entitled to a bike whilst a poor labourer is not because he has a ding dong? Who is schooling these pathetic, decrepit, bigoted, and misandric mongrels?
