Karachi Kings Foreign Star Ruled Out of PSL 2025

Karachi Kings have been dealt a significant setback in their Pakistan Super League 2025 campaign, with New Zealand pacer Adam Milne ruled out for the remainder of the tournament due to a knee injury sustained earlier in the season.

The injury occurred during Karachi’s second game against Lahore Qalandars, and although Milne remained with the squad for rehabilitation, ongoing discomfort and further medical consultation have led to the decision to end his season prematurely.

Adam Milne’s absence will be felt deeply by the Karachi Kings, who had banked on his international pedigree and pace to spearhead their bowling unit, even spending a Platinum pick to acquire his services. He had shown promising rhythm early in the tournament despite going wicketless in his two games, and his injury now forces the side to rethink their combination in the final stretch of the league.

Karachi Kings have already named Saad Baig as Milne’s temporary replacement. The young wicketkeeper-batter had already been with the side as a partial substitute for Kane Williamson and has featured in two games this season.

The Karachi Kings management also extended their gratitude to Adam Milne for his commitment and professionalism, wishing him a swift recovery.

While Adam Milne’s departure adds to Karachi’s evolving squad narrative this season, with injuries and squad shuffles testing their depth and adaptability, it provides an opportunity for the rest of the roster to step up. How they respond to this latest challenge could define their trajectory in the remainder of PSL 2025.
