In a move aimed at easing the financial burden on families, the Private Schools Regulatory Authority in Peshawar has issued a clear directive to all private educational institutions to offer discounts on tuition fees for siblings.
According to an official notification released by the authority, private schools are now required to provide at least a 20% fee discount for students who are siblings. This policy must be implemented in strict accordance with the directives issued by the Peshawar High Court.
The regulatory authority has urged school administrations to cooperate with parents on this matter, emphasizing that reducing educational expenses is essential to supporting students’ continued learning.
Parents have welcomed the decision, stating that the discount will make it easier for families to keep their children enrolled in school without facing undue financial strain.
