The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta, has announced that the intermediate annual exams across the province will now commence from 2nd May, 2025.
According to an official press release issued on 27th April, 2025, the exams were initially scheduled to begin on 22nd April, 2025, but had been postponed for three weeks due to unavoidable circumstances.
To minimise inconvenience for students, parents, and other stakeholders, the Board has decided to resume the examinations earlier than expected.
Here’s the revised date sheet:
Earlier, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) had also announced that the postponed intermediate exams will commence on May 5, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Assembly’s parliamentary committee decided to give grace marks to first-year students who failed their exams. This follows a report that found unfairness in the board’s exam process.
