Nothing’s budget brand CMF has launched its first Pro model, and it brings key improvements over the original. The CMF Phone 2 Pro introduces a triple-camera setup, better display specs, NFC support, and a modular design with attachable lenses, all at a budget price point.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. It offers 10-bit color depth, 2,160Hz PWM dimming, and reaches 3,000 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Panda Glass, a cheaper Chinese alternative to Gorilla Glass.
The phone is 7.8mm thick and weighs 185g, slightly slimmer and lighter than the previous version, despite retaining the same battery size. It carries an IP54 water and dust resistance rating and is available in White, Black, Light Green, and Orange.
The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage. Storage expansion via microSD is supported. It ships with Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15, and CMF has committed to three years of Android updates and six years of security patches. One major addition is NFC, which enables contactless payment and was missing from the original model.
The main sensor is a 50MP unit with a 1/1.57-inch sensor, capable of 4K recording at 30fps. The phone adds a second 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 16MP. The rear camera system now supports modular lens attachments, including macro and fisheye options, sold separately.
The 5,000 mAh battery supports 33W wired charging and 5W reverse charging. Official data claims that the device provides 22 hours of YouTube playback or 10 hours of gaming, and expects the battery health to remain at 90% capacity after 1,200 charge cycles.
Pricing starts at $229 for the 8GB + 128GB model and $253 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Optional accessories include a macro or fisheye lens for $38, a wallet/stand for $38, and a universal case for $27, with bundle pricing set at $49 for one lens plus both accessories. All accessories are sold through CMF’s official site.
