Sources within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have reported that several players are in contention to be selected for the national squad based on their strong performances in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025).
The players who will likely be selected for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh in July include: Quetta Gladiators’ Faheem Ashraf, Karachi Kings’ vice-captain Hasan Ali, Peshawar Zalmi’s Hussain Talat, along with young pacer Ali Raza, and Islamabad United’s Sahibzada Farhan.
These players impressed selectors with their skills during the PSL 2025 season, earning them a spot in the national lineup.
Hasan Ali has been making headlines with his brilliant bowling, becoming the leading wicket-taker in the ongoing tournament with 13 wickets. Meanwhile, Islamabad’s explosive opener, Sahibzada Farhan, has scored 236 runs in just 5 games, averaging 47.20 runs per game. Quetta’s Faheem Ashraf has proven to be a handy all-rounder throughout the tournament.
On the other hand, 17-year-old pacer, Ali Raza has been one of the breakout new stars from PSL 10. The youngster continues to impress with his pace and bowling accuracy.
