Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Dates Announced

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be held in England, starting on June 12 and concluding with the final at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5.

This tournament will be the 10th edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup and promises to be the biggest yet, with 12 teams competing—more than ever before.

Seven venues across England have been selected to host matches: Lord’s, Edgbaston, Hampshire Bowl, Headingley, Old Trafford, The Oval, and Bristol County Ground. The tournament will span 24 days and feature a total of 33 matches. The full schedule will be announced soon.

Eight teams have already qualified for the tournament: England (hosts), Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies. Four more teams will join them through a qualifying event next year. The teams will be divided into two groups of six for the group stage, followed by knockout rounds and the final.

The last Women’s T20 World Cup, held in 2024, saw New Zealand win their first title by defeating South Africa in the final.
