MG Capital has rolled out a new financing option for the MG4 electric vehicle (EV), offering a 0% markup installment plan for buyers interested in acquiring the car over 12- or 18-month tenures. The initiative applies to both available variants of the MG4 — the 51kW and the 64kW versions.
Introducing a markup-free option comes amid growing interest in electric vehicles in Pakistan, where buyers often face barriers due to upfront costs and limited financing solutions.
Under the plan, customers are required to make an initial down payment corresponding to the vehicle’s listed price. For the 51kW MG4, the minimum down payment is Rs. 4,899,500. This variant carries a monthly installment of Rs. 408,292 for a 12-month payment term and Rs. 279,139 for 18 months.
The 64kW MG4, which comes at a higher price point, can be acquired with monthly installments of Rs. 457,917 over 12 months or Rs. 312,222 over 18 months. No interest or finance charges apply during the tenure, and the sum of all installments and down payment will be equal to the total ex-factory price.
MG Capital has confirmed that the offer includes no additional fees, penalties, or service charges, making the installment plan cost-neutral compared to a one-time payment.
The 0% markup offer is open to both individual and institutional buyers, with eligibility determined based on standard internal assessments. The vehicles are being offered under MG Capital’s internal financing channel, and no third-party banks or lenders are involved in the scheme.
Customers opting for this payment plan will receive their vehicles based on the availability of stock and fulfillment of booking formalities. MG Capital has stated that vehicle allotments will proceed on a first-come, first-served basis, and buyers are advised to confirm variant availability and payment timelines before proceeding.
