This $150 Lenovo Monitor is Fit for Both Professionals and Gamers

Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkVision T24-40, a 23.8-inch Full HD monitor aimed at professionals and general users seeking a responsive and ergonomic display. Priced at approximately $150, the new model combines performance features with a versatile design suited for work and multimedia use.

Display and Visuals

The ThinkVision T24-40 features a 1920×1080 WLED-backlit IPS panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4ms GtG response time, ensuring smooth visuals for both productivity and casual content consumption. The monitor delivers 8-bit color depth and covers 99% of sRGB and BT.709 gamuts, offering accurate color reproduction for professional applications.

Its 1500:1 contrast ratio and 250 nits of brightness provide decent visual clarity, while an anti-glare coating helps reduce reflections in well-lit environments.

Designed with eye health in mind, the T24-40 includes TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, Eyesafe 2.0 compliance, and hardware-level low blue light filtering. These features aim to minimize eye fatigue during long working hours.

Ports and Connectivity

Connectivity options include HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, and VGA, making it compatible with both modern and legacy systems. The built-in USB hub features:

  • 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports
  • 1x USB-C (15W, data-only)
  • 1x USB-B upstream port

This hub functionality supports cleaner cable management and reduces desktop clutter.

Ergonomics

The monitor comes with an adjustable stand offering:

  • Height adjustment up to 155mm
  • Tilt ranges from 5° to 23.5°
  • Swivel of ±45°
  • Pivot of ±90°

The VESA mount (100×100mm) compatibility also allows for custom mounting setups. The T24-40 weighs 5.1kg with the stand and 3.0kg without.

Additional Features

A directional joystick allows quick access to on-screen settings. Users can also use Lenovo’s ThinkColour software for more detailed display customization.

The T24-40 arrives amid growing competition in the monitor space. Titan Army recently launched a 320Hz gaming monitor priced at just $115, while AOC unveiled a 27-inch 2K monitor with a 260Hz refresh rate, 1ms GtG response time, and HDR400 certification.
