Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that all educational institutions across the province will resume classes from tomorrow.
Taking to social media, the minister wrote, “Inshallah all schools, colleges and universities to resume classes tomorrow,” confirming the end of the temporary closure.
The institutions were earlier shut down until Sunday, May 11, due to precautionary measures linked to ongoing national developments. The decision to suspend academic activity was announced by the minister himself in view of the evolving situation in the country.
The government had stated that the closure was necessary to ensure public safety during a sensitive period. With conditions now reportedly stable, educational activities will return to normal across Punjab starting Monday.
