The verification of matriculation and intermediate certificates in Sindh is going fully digital, according to a recent notification issued by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).
Under the new policy, the IBCC has officially ended the practice of accepting sealed envelopes for certificate verification. Moving forward, all verification requests will be processed exclusively through an online system.
To implement this shift, the IBCC has directed all educational boards in Sindh to connect with its centralized digital verification platform. This integration aims to streamline the process and prevent delays caused by manual submissions.
Currently, the system is active with the Karachi Matric Board, Sukkur Education Board, and Ziauddin Board. Other boards across the province have been asked to digitize and upload their academic records without delay so they can join the online verification network.
Officials believe the move will enhance transparency, speed up response times, and reduce the risk of forged documents circulating in the education sector.
