Punjab Finally Announces Summer Vacations – Check the Dates Here

Punjab’s Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that all public and private schools across the province will begin their summer holidays earlier than planned due to the ongoing heatwave.

Originally scheduled to begin on June 1, the summer break will now start from May 28. The decision comes in response to rising temperatures that have raised serious health concerns for school-going children.

To ease conditions in the days leading up to the holidays, the minister also announced revised school timings. Effective immediately, schools will operate from 7:30 am to 11:30 am until May 27.
