GUGO Motors has jumped on the marketing bandwagon with a vague Facebook post offering a “special discount” on its GIGI electric vehicle — but without sharing any actual numbers.
The announcement has left potential buyers frustrated.
The post, titled “Pakistan wins, and so do you!”, promised a limited-time discount on limited stock of the GIGI, yet failed to mention how much of a discount is actually being offered.
Consumers have a right to know what “discount” they’re being offered, especially in a market where affordability plays a crucial role in EV adoption.
If GUGO Motors truly wants to compete in Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle market, it needs to convey its every offer clearly to the masses. Until then, buyers may be better off looking toward other options.
