The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced a 16-man squad for the upcoming home T20I series against Bangladesh. After a series of scheduling changes and discussions with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the tour is now set to begin on May 27.
The selection committee has named a 16-member squad, with Salman Ali Agha set to continue as captain and Shadab Khan as vice-captain. The squad was chosen based on players’ performances in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL X), which wraps up on May 25. This series will also be the first assignment for newly appointed head coach Mike Hesson.

The three-match series will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, starting on May 27 and concluding on May 31. The tour was originally planned as a five-match series with a couple of matches at the Iqbal Stadium to revive international cricket in Faisalabad, but was revised due to logistical and security challenges. The schedule was finalized after a meeting between PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh Cricket Board officials.
