Infinix has officially introduced the GT 30 Pro, the latest addition to its gaming-focused smartphone lineup. The device comes equipped with a high refresh rate display, advanced internal hardware, gamer-specific enhancements, and wireless charging support.
Design and Display
The Infinix GT 30 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 1,600 nits peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. A in-display fingerprint scanner is also included.
The rear panel introduces Infinix’s Cyber Mecha Design 2.0, which includes angular aesthetics and customizable RGB lighting. The phone has three color options: Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare, as shown below.
Internals and Software
Powering the GT 30 Pro is MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The device supports bypass charging, which supplies power directly to the motherboard during gaming sessions to reduce heat buildup.
On the software front, the GT 30 Pro runs XOS 15, based on Android 15. The operating system includes Infinix’s AI suite, supported by the DeepSeek R1 engine. Additional gaming support comes from dual capacitive shoulder GT triggers, offering customizable low-latency input for enhanced gameplay.
Infinix also introduced a MagCharge Cooler accessory, which magnetically attaches to the phone’s back and improves cooling efficiency by up to 30%.
Cameras
The rear camera setup includes a 108MP main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera, integrated into the display, provides 13MP resolution for selfies and video calls. The camera system is designed to balance high-resolution imaging with performance under varied lighting conditions.
Battery and Pricing
The GT 30 Pro is powered by a 5,500 mAh battery (reduced to 5,200 mAh in some regions). Charging options include 45W wired and 30W wireless charging, making it one of the few gaming phones in its class to support both.
In Malaysia, the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at $304, while the 512GB model is priced at $351. Global pricing and availability details are expected to be announced soon.
