A mysterious metallic sphere discovered in Colombia has ignited worldwide speculation about possible UFO activity. The object was seen flying over the town of Buga on March 2 before landing.
Researchers, including Jose Luis Velazquez, are now studying the sphere. Velazquez noted that the object has three distinct layers and no visible welds or joints, features uncommon in human-made items. He suggested these unusual characteristics could point to an extraterrestrial origin, intensifying public interest and debate.

However, not all experts are convinced. Julia Mossbridge, executive director of the Institute for Love and Time and a physicist at the University of San Diego, expressed skepticism. Speaking to Fox News Digital, Mossbridge said the sphere appears more like an “art project” than an alien craft and cautioned against drawing quick conclusions. She emphasized the need for thorough scientific analysis.
Mossbridge also highlighted that unexplained aerial phenomena are not new, noting that even government agencies have acknowledged the existence of unidentified objects in the sky. Groups such as the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, the UAP Disclosure Fund, and the Galileo Project are now working to investigate such cases.
As researchers continue to examine the Colombian sphere, the object has become the latest focus in the ongoing global conversation about UFOs and the mysteries of our skies.
