Lenovo has introduced its new Legion R360 wireless gaming headset for only $21. It comes in three colors: White, Pink, and Black.
Triple-Mode Connectivity
The Legion R360 supports three connection modes:
- 2.4GHz wireless via a dedicated USB Type-C dongle
- Bluetooth 5.4
- 3.5mm wired input
This multi-mode setup enables compatibility with a wide range of devices, including PCs, smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles. Lenovo reports that the 2.4GHz wireless connection ensures low-latency audio with a stable range of up to 10 meters.
Audio and Build Quality
Equipped with 50mm dynamic drivers, the R360 delivers stereo sound and supports virtual 7.1 surround sound when used in wireless mode. This feature helps with directional awareness during gameplay.
The headset weighs approximately 230 grams and features soft, breathable ear cushions and a flexible, self-adjusting headband. Its frame uses lightweight and durable materials to reduce pressure during extended sessions. Lenovo has fitted the R360 with a high-sensitivity microphone featuring Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC). A dedicated chip filters ambient noise to enhance voice clarity during use in noisy environments.
Battery Life and Controls
The headset includes a 1,000 mAh battery capable of running for up to 70 hours in wireless mode. It charges via USB Type-C and ships with both a 1.2-meter audio cable and a 0.5-meter charging cable. Physical controls on the earcup manage power, volume, playback, microphone settings, surround sound mode, and connection preferences.
The R360 measures 189mm x 88mm x 221mm. It has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, impedance of 32 ohms ±15%, and sensitivity of 100dB ±3dB.
The launch of the R360 comes amid other headset announcements in the gaming sector. Logitech recently debuted the G522 wireless headset, while Asus introduced a new Moonlight White version of its ROG Delta 2, featuring 50mm drivers and extended battery life.
It is unclear if or when Lenovo plans to release this headset into the global market.
