Adobe Photoshop is finally available on Android for the first time ever, and it’s completely free, at least for now. This is because the app is still in its beta version, and the final version will most likely be paid, as per usual. You can now download the app directly from the Google Play Store.
Keep in mind that you will need at least Android 11 and a minimum of 6GB of RAM to run Photoshop on Android, although Adobe recommends 8GB of RAM for optimal performance.
This news comes a few months after the app’s release on iOS, and just like its iPhone counterpart, the Android version is complete with the same features. The best part is that the mobile version on both mobile ecosystems has nearly the same set of features as the desktop variant, which is hailed as one of the most advanced photo editing tools available. Some of the features you can play with include editing with layers, masks, removing unwanted parts of an image, Generative Fill, the Tap Select tool, and more.
Here is the full list of features available on Photoshop for Android.
Adobe has also announced that “more capabilities are coming soon.”
