The federal government has approved an increase in the monthly conveyance allowance for disabled employees, raising it from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000.
This move aims to ease the financial burden on employees with disabilities and support their daily commute. The revised allowance will be applicable to all eligible government employees across various departments.
Officials said the decision reflects the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of differently-abled individuals and ensuring inclusivity in the workplace.
