Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the Alto 800 Electric, redefining the entry-level EV segment in India. Unveiled on May 15, 2025, the new model brings affordability, practicality, and sustainability into one of India’s most iconic car brands.
The Alto 800 Electric is priced between INR6.0–6.4 Lac in India after subsidies. While its sticker price is higher than the petrol variant (INR4.2–4.6 Lac), its long-term ownership cost is significantly lower thanks to cheaper electricity rates and reduced maintenance.
