The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a warning for individuals whose Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) expired in 2018. Mobile SIMs issued against these expired ID cards will be blocked after July 31, 2025, if the cards are not renewed.
According to NADRA, all identity cards that lapsed in 2018 must be updated to avoid service disruptions. Citizens are urged to renew their expired CNICs as soon as possible either by visiting their nearest NADRA registration center or through the Pak-ID mobile app.
The authority has emphasized the urgency of this matter, advising affected individuals to act promptly to maintain access to mobile phone services.

Visit PTA website or call their helpline you have to file a complaint.
Actual rule is that u have to visit Jazz office to get Jazz SIMs cancelled and Ufone office to cancel Ufone SIMS.
If these offices are not in your city visit their website and lodge complain.
Meanwhile u can do another action and visit your police station and lodge report against unknown people who get SIMs issued in your name.

Pakistani institutions are rudderless ships, no one knows how and why certain steps are taken which defy logic. Thanks God they woke up to take action against sims whose owner cnic expired in 2018. I think government should rethink and should define this period as 6 months.
This is nonsensical. Tell me exactly how an ID can expire. Find another solution to the actual problem
