Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Friday inaugurated the Cove Beach Resort at Hawk’s Bay, marking the launch of Karachi’s first-ever beach resort developed through a public-private partnership (PPP).
Speaking at the ceremony, the mayor said the city now offers a world-class coastal experience, eliminating the need for residents to travel abroad for premium beach destinations. Built in just six months, the resort features modern amenities and is officially open to the public.
Calling it a major milestone for the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), Wahab said the project reflects his administration’s push to modernize urban infrastructure. He added that another resort is already being planned, with possible locations in Ibrahim Hyderi or Malir to ensure wider public access.

Per night charges are 110000 plus 14300 taxes. Too much expensive. Just a media stunt. Basic infrastructure of city is looks like Mohenjo Daro and they are wasting time and money on these bullshits.
