Pakistan Railways has officially revised the departure schedule for several major trains from Lahore to Karachi, according to a report by 24News.
As per the latest update:
- The Karachi Express, which previously departed at 6:00 PM, will now leave Lahore at 10:00 PM.
- The Business Express has had its departure time moved from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
- The Karakoram Express will now depart at 5:30 PM, instead of its earlier time of 3:00 PM.
Passengers planning to travel on these trains are advised to verify the updated schedule in advance to avoid any inconvenience and to make suitable travel arrangements.
Pakistan Railways has not specified the reason for the schedule changes, but such adjustments are often made to optimize operations or accommodate infrastructure improvements.
Lahore -Karachi-Lahore change is required in train tracks and train coaches condition which is pathetic except green line train.
Secondly the completion of Motorway from Sukkur to Hyderabad. Both Sindh Govt. and Federal blaming each other at least seen in newspaper or social media but none of them seems serious on this key issue.
Please think first of Pakistan and Pakistan connectivity through train or motorway.

The condition of trains are very bad rather pathetic . No railway official is ready to look into this matter bec they are enjoying perks and benefits enjoying free tickets etc .

Yes, I’m always agreevwith you as being Pakistani. The overall condition of trains, motorway, busses even in Karachi amd other cities should be improved and one more big issue is the sewarge, gas, electric and water lines they should be seperate and thrircare new gutters but eitoit covers, whuch creates difficult and dangerous situations for public as we have good green line, and other busses but roads are not enough wide as they are huge and create problems for the oedestrians as well as shopping malls have no ptoper parking areas.
Government should rake prompt action to solve thus critucsl issues to avoid accidents.
