Relief Announced for Unregistered Vehicles

In view of Muharram and to ease public inconvenience, the Karachi traffic police have announced a temporary suspension of their ongoing crackdown against vehicles operating without official number plates issued by the excise department.

According to a spokesperson, the operation has been paused around Ashura to allow citizens more time to get their vehicles properly registered and fitted with excise-approved number plates.

The official emphasized that although the campaign is on hold until July 15, vehicle owners are strongly urged to use this window to ensure their documents and plates are in order.
