UHS Approves Admission Schedule for Two Degree Programs

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has released the admission timeline for its undergraduate programs in Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy, according to a report by a TV channel.

The admission calendar was approved during a joint session of the Boards of Studies for Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy, held on Monday. The meeting, chaired by UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore, was attended by academic heads and principals of affiliated institutions.

According to the approved schedule, admissions for the Fall Semester 2025 will begin in the first week of July and continue until the last week of the month. The Undergraduate Admission Test is scheduled for the first week of August, with the first merit list expected in the third week. Fall classes will officially start on September 30, 2025.

For the Spring Semester 2026, the admission window will open in the last week of December. Entrance tests are scheduled for early February, and the merit list will be released in the third week of that month. Classes will commence on March 30, 2026.

The meeting also highlighted the critical need for high-quality clinical training. It was decided that all affiliated Allied Health institutions must have their teaching hospitals with a minimum of 200 beds.

The Vice Chancellor emphasized that instead of relying on Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with external healthcare facilities, institutions should develop in-house clinical training setups. This step is intended to ensure consistency and quality in medical education. UHS will officially issue this directive to the Allied Health Council.
