Gold Rate in Pakistan Up by Nearly Rs. 8,000 Per Tola This Week

The price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 800 per tola and was traded at Rs. 357,000 on Thursday as compared to its sale at Rs. 356,200 on the last trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported.

It is pertinent to mention here that the price of gold rose by Rs. 800 per tola on the opening day of the week, i.e. Monday, followed by another increase of Rs. 6,600 per tola on Tuesday. The price decline by Rs. 600 per tola on Wednesday. Today’s increase in the price of gold takes the surge in price this week to Rs. 7,600 per tola.

The prices of 10 grams of 24 karat also increased by Rs. 685 to Rs. 306,069 from Rs. 305,384 and for 10 grams of 22 Karat it went up by Rs. 628 to Rs. 280,573 from Rs. 279,945

The rates of per tola and ten-gram silver increased by Rs. 55 and Rs. 47 and were sold at Rs. 3,871 and Rs. 3,318 respectively.

The price of gold in the international market increased by $8 to $3,350 from $3,342, whereas that of silver increased by $0.55 to at $36.87, the Association reported.
