Here’s Pakistan’s Squad for Bangladesh T20 Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, scheduled from 20 to 24 July at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

Salman Ali Agha will continue to lead the side, as the PCB shows faith in young talent with several players eager to cement their spot in the national T20 setup. While Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi continue to be absent, the PCB has decided to give another chance to Mohammad Nawaz and Sufiyan Muqeem, while adding Ahmed Daniyal to the international setup as well.

The selection, confirmed by the Men’s National Selection Committee on Monday, signals a continued effort to broaden Pakistan’s white-ball bench strength, particularly with the T20 World Cup 2026 cycle now underway.

The team will be under the guidance of head coach Mike Hesson, with Ashley Noffke (bowling), Muhammad Hanif Malik (batting), and Shane McDermott (fielding) forming a strong coaching core.

While focus now turns to Bangladesh, the PCB confirmed that the squad for the white-ball series against the West Indies will be announced later. That series will further test the bench strength being developed under the new leadership group.

This three-match series presents a vital opportunity for several players to stake their claim ahead of a packed T20I calendar. For Salman Ali Agha, it is another chance to grow as a leader. For the team, it is about building a strong, adaptable core that can handle different conditions and opponents.
