Pakistan Records Highest Ever Remittances in FY2024-25

Pakistan’s remittances came at US$ 3.4 billion in June 2025, up 8 percent YoY. This takes FY25 remittances to US$ 38.3 billion, up 27 percent YoY or $8 billion over US$ 30.3 billion received in the same period last year, latest data by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) revealed on Wednesday.

According to Topline Securities, FY25 marks the highest ever annual remittances received by Pakistan.

On a month-on-month basis, remittances are marginally down by 8 percent from $3.7 billion in May 2025 to $3.4 billion in June 2025. Compared to last year, remittance inflows are up by 6.25 percent YoY from $3.2 billion reported in June 2024.

Remittances inflows during June 2025 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia ($823 million), United Arab Emirates ($717 million), United Kingdom ($538 million) and European Union ($442 million).
