Punjab Releases New Urdu Textbook for Intermediate

The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board has published an Urdu textbook for the eleventh grade. This textbook is part of the revised syllabus introduced by the Punjab Education Curriculum and Assessment Authority for the current academic year. The new curriculum includes changes in subjects such as English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, and Computer Science.

Students of the ninth and eleventh grades will study their courses according to these new syllabi. The authors of the newly published Urdu textbook include Dr. Khawar Nawazish, Tariq Habib, Professor Zafar-ul-Haq Chishti, Tahir Siddiqui, and Hannan Mahmood.

The newly published textbook, aligned with the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board’s eleventh-grade syllabus, has been printed in 27,000 copies, priced at 151 Pakistani Rupees each. Additionally, Professor Naseer Bashir of Dial Singh College has also published a guidebook titled “Gohar Urdu” to facilitate students. This guidebook is in full compliance with the new curriculum established by the Punjab Education Curriculum and Assessment Authority.
