Crackdown Launched Against Illegal Parking at Busy Islamabad Markaz

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has launched a crackdown on illegal and double parking in I-8 Markaz to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the busy commercial area.

According to an official, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan. During the campaign, traffic officers issued challans to several vehicles found parked illegally and removed those obstructing the smooth flow of traffic.

The official said the enforcement drive was aimed at ensuring uninterrupted traffic movement and improving road discipline in the area.

CTO Kainat Azhar Khan directed traffic officers to continue strict action against illegal parking across commercial centers in the federal capital.

She also urged motorists to park only in designated parking areas and comply with traffic laws to help maintain smooth traffic flow and avoid unnecessary congestion.
