Infinix Just Dropped a Paper Thin Smartphone with a 144Hz AMOLED and Big Battery

Infinix has introduced two new smartphones in its Hot 60 series, Hot 60 Pro and Hot 60 Pro+, both featuring modern designs, AMOLED displays, and MediaTek’s latest 4G chipset. The Hot 60 Pro+ stands out with one of the slimmest bodies on the market and a flagship-grade display experience.

Design and Display

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ boasts an ultra-slim body measuring just 5.95mm, making it one of the thinnest smartphones available today. Despite its thin profile, the phone houses a large 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It weighs only 155 grams and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, with a nanofiber back and an aluminum frame for added durability. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Infinix Hot 60 Pro

The Hot 60 Pro is slightly thicker at 6.6mm and uses a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and the same 144Hz refresh rate. Both models offer immersive visuals and a premium design profile. Color options include bold choices like Coral Tides, Sonic Yellow, and Cyber Green, alongside more classic tones such as Titanium Silver and Sleek Black.

Internals and Software

Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, a 4G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Hot 60 Pro adds a microSD card slot for expandable storage, which the Pro+ lacks.

On the software side, the phones run Infinix XOS 15.1.1, based on Android 15, and come equipped with the full Infinix AI suite, including various smart features designed to optimize performance and user interaction.

Cameras

The Hot 60 Pro and Pro+ both feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 main rear camera, accompanied by two auxiliary lenses, details of which are not yet disclosed. On the front, the Pro+ includes a 13MP selfie camera, while the Pro’s front camera specs were not specified but are expected to be similar.

These camera setups are aimed at delivering strong performance in both daylight and low-light conditions, along with AI-assisted imaging tools through Infinix’s software.

Battery and Pricing

Despite their slim builds, both phones pack a substantial 5,160 mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging, promising full-day usage with quick top-ups when needed.

While official pricing is yet to be confirmed, the Pro+ is expected to retail at around $190. Pricing and availability for the Hot 60 Pro will be announced soon.
