A passenger intending to travel from Lahore to Karachi ended up in Jeddah after mistakenly boarding the wrong flight—an error attributed to negligence by the airline staff.
The incident prompted the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority to intervene, holding the private airline accountable for the mishap.
In a video statement, the traveler, Malik Shahzain, explained that he had unknowingly boarded a flight bound for Jeddah instead of his intended destination, Karachi. It wasn’t until nearly two hours into the journey that he realized the aircraft was heading overseas.
Shahzain also mentioned that he did not have his passport with him during the flight. The airline, recognizing the error, has since arranged for his return to Lahore.
