Tractor Sales in Pakistan Plummet to Lowest Level in 22 Years

Tractor sales in Pakistan have dropped to the lowest level recorded in 22 years.

According to Topline Securities, tractor sales fell to 29,192 units in the fiscal year 2024-25, the lowest since FY03 (26,832 units).

The decline was driven by weaker farm economics, shown by a 21 percent YoY fall in wheat prices in FY25.

Both Millat and Al-Ghazi posted 22-year lows, recording 18,580 and 10,612 units in FY25, respectively.

  • Government’s (provincial and federal) policies against agriculture, economy and development has a lot to do with this.
