Enhanced Cooperation in Security and Policing

Beyond the visa agreement, both countries committed to expanding cooperation in areas of internal security, anti-terrorism, anti-narcotics, and combating human trafficking. Discussions also included enhancing collaboration in police training and the exchange of institutional knowledge.

To support these objectives, a joint committee will be formed to oversee bilateral coordination and implementation of agreed measures. Pakistan’s Federal Secretary for Interior, Khurram Agha, will lead the Pakistani side of the committee.

Upcoming Delegation Visit and Broader Engagement

A high-level Bangladeshi delegation is scheduled to visit Islamabad shortly. During the visit, the officials will observe Pakistan’s Safe City Project and tour the National Police Academy to explore models of law enforcement modernization.
