The Punjab government has officially launched the second phase of a groundbreaking internship initiative aimed at empowering young agriculture graduates.
The program, spearheaded by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, seeks to enhance agricultural productivity by providing practical training and a generous monthly stipend to 2,000 youth across the province.
Program Overview
Under the slogan “Maryam Nawaz ka Khwab – Sona Ugalta Punjab”, the initiative focuses on engaging young professionals in agricultural fieldwork to improve sector performance, particularly in underserved districts.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Agriculture
- B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Agricultural Engineering
- Be 25 years old or younger as of the last application date.
- Must be a domiciled resident of Punjab.

- Get the application form and other details from Punjab Agriculture website.
- Submit the application form at the office of Deputy Director Agriculture.
The program ensures equitable participation from all districts. Each region has been allocated a specific number of internship slots based on its population and agricultural footprint.
