Changan Pakistan has introduced a new variant of its Karvaan MPV, the Power Plus 1.2L UG, with key updates aimed at enhancing style, comfort, and safety.
Design and Interior Updates
The new Karvaan UG variant features a set of exterior upgrades, including smoked headlamps and newly added 14-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin now comes with a dual-tone finish, garnished with A and B pillars, and wooden accent panels to elevate the overall aesthetic. The seats have also been revised with new ergonomic headrests for improved comfort.
Infotainment and Convenience
Changan has integrated a 5-inch MP5 touchscreen infotainment system, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The variant also includes a rearview camera, parking sensors, and a rear charging port, addressing previous gaps in utility and driver assistance features.
Safety Enhancements
For the first time in the Karvaan lineup, the UG variant offers dual front airbags for both driver and front passenger. The safety suite is rounded out with ABS and EBD systems, an anti-theft system, and rear seatbelts for second and third-row occupants.
Pricing and Availability
The Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG is priced at Rs. 3,249,000 (ex-dealership) in Pakistan. Bookings are now open on a full-payment, first-come, first-served basis. The price includes shipping and sales tax but excludes income tax, withholding tax, and other government levies, which remain the buyer’s responsibility.
Price Might Change
Changan states that the price will be applicable from July 25, 2025, and reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice. Deliveries will reflect the prevailing price at the time, regardless of any ‘Price Lock Advantage’ claims.
