Rawalpindi is set to get a fresh new look as the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) ramps up its citywide beautification campaign.
Under the guidance of Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, Director General of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi, the city’s beautification efforts are in full swing, focusing on key sites, intersections, and public spaces.
A major highlight of this initiative is the ongoing transformation of the Rehmanabad Clock Tower on Murree Road. The landmark is currently undergoing a significant facelift, with a new architectural design that will include elegant arches, columns, and cornices. The base of the tower is being elevated and expanded, and intricate stonework is being added to enhance its visual appeal.
In addition to the structural upgrades, the area around the clock tower is being revitalized with fresh landscaping. Plans include planting vibrant flowers and greenery, installing a decorative fence with balustrades, and adding benches for visitors to enjoy. A smooth walking path will circle the monument, while stylish lamp posts and decorative lighting will brighten the space at night.
Ahmed Hassan Ranjha emphasized PHA’s commitment to making Rawalpindi a cleaner and more beautiful city. He also mentioned that more beautification projects are on the horizon and assured that the Rehmanabad Clock Tower’s renovation will be completed soon.

Good to note beatification and renovation going beyond Lahore.
But they will not take a notice of water issues under the over pass parkings. We called several times to wasa to clean the space but no one is taking seriously. Before publishing any paid news you should examine those spaces as well
So we are continuing to waste money on projects that have public appeal rather then tackling actual issues like improving literacy rates, better land reforms, better municipal laws and tons of other things.
