All Utility Stores in Pakistan have now been officially closed across the country.
“All the sales and purchases at utility stores have been closed with effect from 31st July 2025 except shifting of stock from stores to warehouses & returned to vendors and handing-taking of stores inventories,” the Utility Stores Corporation said in a notice today.
The notice highlighted that decision has been take in compliance with the directives of the prime minister.

The people who have done projects with utility stores, what will they do and what government plan to compensate them for their losses
Utilities Stores staff was corrupt, Engaged in smuggling. Rude and arrogant. Their pensions should also be stopped.
This is a good step. whenever, the Government invloves in doing business, things get messy. Private sector should do this Job. the utility stores and ware shouses should also be auctioned now. Government’s Petrol pumps and guests houses shall also be closed.
Never expect any good relief from Form 47 govt, its agenda is to keep middle & lower class in stress.
