Unless you show the total cost, this article becomes meaningless. China was already dumping trash in its backyard. Now these EVs are being added to the heap. These EVs will lose their value sharply and you might not be able to sell them in the used car market.
To be honest. This is the main concern in public. We are ready to buy electric. We’ll have to face the range anxiety but still we don’t know nothing the resale value of these vehicle. It will take 5 more years until these vehicles are on the road and then eventually in the resale market to understand their resale value
How did you decide that ? You buy cars to use them not sell them.
Gas cars devalue all the time. Mercedes and BMW both devalue 20% in just 1 year.

Being a veteren running 80’s , i feel like ev’s as a wonderfull opportunity to get out of their beds and go for outing nearby in their own mobile to inhale fresh air on their toese. The only constraint which distract the imagination to be realised seems to me , it may be the heavy amount involved as down payment ‘n the total investment to be incurred out of their limited resoures commonly known as “PENSION” in my opinion if the amount of down payment cud be lowered down a bit so as to enable every one could affored to make payment , the demand could be like hot cakes.Believe you me.!!

Zero mark up on installments is a good initiative but I agree with the previous comment, it is very logical if someone is scrolling he or she has inclination to purchase or making mind to purchase, that requires full price and number of installments.

@Aam Aadmi: World is driving EV’s. World is driving Chinese EVs. There are countries where petrol driven cars are getting banned. Petrol prices are getting higher every other week and to get rid of the petrol, government should ease import and manufacturing of EVs. If you dont like change why dont you keep using those mehran and suzuki swift and avoid travelling by air.
what good for us when more then 50% of electricity produced in our country is produced from fuel and electricity bills itself contains fuel adjustment charges.

The ev cars in China cost five thousand us dollars I read in an article suggesting the car launch in pakistan is standard model cost 45 lac. I don’t thing I will buy Chinese cars, compard with Japanese or Korean cars.
