On August 3rd, the iconic Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi transformed into a house of hilarity, as over 450+ people packed the venue for a sold-out show headlined by none other than Akbar Chaudry. Known for his quick-fire improv and clever observational humor, Akbar had the crowd in stitches from the moment he took the mic following a stellar opening set by the ever-charismatic Usman Mazhar, who delivered a wildly entertaining performance that set the perfect tone for the night.

From Islamabad’s record-breaking opener to Karachi’s full-throttle comedy spectacle, VELO Presents The Comedy Club 2025 has already proven it’s here to dominate the year’s entertainment calendar. Two cities. Two sold-out shows. Thousands of laughs.

And they’re just getting started.

Sources say the team is already gearing up for their third big show of the year, with an announcement expected soon on their socials. The question is: which city is next, and which comedians will be bringing the house down this time? One thing’s for sure, if the first two stops are any indication, this is a comedy ride you don’t want to miss.
