Metro Bus Service Partially Suspended in Rawalpindi

The Metro bus service in Rawalpindi has been partially suspended today (Friday) in connection with Chehlum processions.

According to the Metro Bus administration, operations between Saddar Station and Faizabad have been halted for the day on the instructions of the district administration. The measure has been taken to ensure security during processions marking the Chehlum of the martyrs of Karbala.

Officials confirmed that the Metro service within Islamabad — from IJP to the Pak Secretariat — will continue as per routine. Commuters who rely on the Rawalpindi section have been advised to use alternative transport for their travel.
