In a significant decision, the Punjab government has reinstated the old pension rules, allowing widows and unmarried daughters of deceased government employees to once again receive a family pension for life.
Previously, the provincial government had amended the law last year, restricting family pensions to only 10 years after the employee’s death.
With the latest notification, that decision has been overturned, restoring lifetime pension benefits for eligible family members.
The notification further stated that in cases of multiple marriages, the pension would be distributed among all eligible beneficiaries as per rules.

Pensioners are sacred liability of any good working national governance system. Pensioners used their strength for the nation when young. They used in service their blood and bones. Nation stands greatly indebted to the lot of nation now called pensioners. There is a need to launch a pensioners economic rehabilitation and reworking their rich practical experience as social organ of the national society. Pension is no burden, that is liability on active governing system.

Good news. I also requested to CM Maryam Nawaz Govt of Punjab restore previous adhoc allces in Pension at the time of retirement for helping poor servants As well as all provence allowed to include in Pension.
