Traffic Fines Will Be Sent to Your WhatsApp Number

The email system for sending and managing e-challans is being phased out, with all future e-challans to be delivered directly to citizens via WhatsApp. This update will enable users to view their challan details and images directly on their phones.

According to Safe Cities officials, citizens will no longer need to use email for e-challan payments or corrections. Instead, e-challans will be sent to the mobile numbers listed in the excise records through WhatsApp. Each message will include a link for easy online payment, and payments can also be made through the Safe Cities website.

For those who wish to contest a challan, a new review button has been added to the website. Citizens can submit their requests online, and the technical team will promptly review and update the e-challan as needed.
