Holiday Announced in Punjab City

Authorities in Sargodha have declared a local holiday for all educational institutions in the city on Saturday, August 23 (28th Safar), in observance of the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hassan (RA).

Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Muhammad Wasim issued the notification, confirming that the closure will be limited to schools and colleges within Sargodha city.

According to a spokesperson for the DC office, the step has been taken to ensure public safety and maintain law and order during the religious procession.
