The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) across Punjab released the 9th class results on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
This annual assessment evaluated thousands of students from public and private schools across the province. The overall passing percentages varied notably among the nine boards, reflecting regional differences in academic performance.
Among all boards, the Dera Ghazi Khan board posted the highest overall pass percentage at 57.34%. The board showed a consistent performance across its districts, surpassing others by a significant margin.
Boards from central regions, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Sargodha, reported similar results with pass rates hovering around the mid-40% range:
BISE Gujranwala achieved an overall pass percentage of 50.45%, ranking it among the stronger-performing boards.
BISE Faisalabad and BISE Multan also performed well, with pass percentages of 51.55% and 52.53%, respectively.
BISE Bahawalpur reported the lowest overall pass rate among all Punjab boards at 43.08%.
