Asia Cup 2025 Match Timings Revised

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced a major change to Asia Cup 2025 match timings, with almost every game set to begin at a new time.

Of the 19 matches, 18 will now start at 6:30 p.m. local time in the United Arab Emirates, the host country for this year’s event. Organizers say the new match timings for the Asia Cup are meant to improve convenience for stadium‑goers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi while aligning better with prime viewing hours across South Asia.

For fans in Pakistan, this means matches will air at 7:30 p.m. local time, an evening slot expected to draw larger TV audiences. Previously, Asia Cup games were set to start at 7:00 p.m. (PST).

There is one exception: the group‑stage clash between the United Arab Emirates and Oman, scheduled for Monday, September 15, at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, will remain a day game, starting at 4:00 p.m. local time. It will be the only daytime match of the tournament.

The Asia Cup 2025, contested in the T20 format, runs from September 9 to September 28, with matches split between Dubai International Stadium and Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan fans will be watching the evening start times closely, especially for the blockbuster India vs Pakistan clash on September 14, which now falls squarely in prime time.
