The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that it will hand over possession of 4,300 residential plots in six blocks of LDA City during the current month. The decision was made in a meeting where officials reviewed the pace of development works in the housing project.
According to the plan, possession will be granted in two phases covering blocks A1, B1, H, L, G, and J. The LDA director general directed the concerned wings to ensure the process is completed on time and in an organized manner.
The meeting was informed that development activities in LDA City are progressing rapidly, particularly on the Structure Plan Road linking the housing scheme with Johar Town. Once completed, this road is expected to significantly reduce travel time to the area, enhancing accessibility for residents.
The LDA chief also instructed officials to bring more residential and commercial plots to the market. As part of this effort, commercial plots in the “Business Bay” area along Hunza Road are expected to be launched soon. These will include four- and eight-marla plots aimed at attracting both investors and small business owners.
It was further shared that the Punjab government is working on plans to establish a dedicated medical city near LDA City, a development described as a potential game changer for the housing scheme’s future growth and value.
